Happy Hump Day, we are off to the lake this weekend with 5 kids ranging in age from 6 weeks to 4 years old. There will need to be plenty of adult beverages available!
*one small side note to add to this "wordless" post, ha, ha! Have you seen the bud light billboards? Every time we drive by one MD screams at the top of her lungs "Daddy juice" sad and funny all at the same time. Needless to say I am sure Daddy and friends will drink lots of juice this weekend.
Molly, when we were at the beach I took Kate into the liquor store with me (great mom, huh?) to get tequila for margs. Now when she sees a tall brown paper bag she says "momma's juice." I mean, I guess I did feed her the line b/c I thought it was funny, but I did not think she would remember or repeat it. Hopefully people won't make the connection with the whole brown paper bag thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your encouragement re: potty training. So far today went better than any of our 3 days in July. I think it's just going to be more of a gradual thing than I had hoped it would be. She is asleep in a pull-up right now. I am planning on just staying home for at least a week and being "pant-less" during waking hours. But if I do need to slip away, or if we haven't mastered it after a week I will certainly use pull-ups. I mean, they were invented for a reason, right? Need to check out the Huggies - thanks for the heads up.
