A Hunting We Will Go!

For those of you who do not know McDonalds and Madame Alexander occasionally partner together for Happy Meal toys. While we don't eat McDonalds ( except for Egg McMuffins) we did want the dolls. Little did I know it would take stalking down multiple McDonalds in all parts of the state. Apparently, every other little girl wanted the dolls, too! I would go to several different McDonalds every couple of days. They would tell me they only had certain dolls available that week but if you were persistent like me and asked them to dig in the bottom of the box I could usually score! I had to get Julie to hunt down Alice and the Mad Hatter in Memphis as they were nowhere to be found in Chattanooga. She needed 3 sets of Hansels and Grettels so we mailed each other what we needed. The things you will do for your kids! I even went as far as sending Griffin to McDonalds in Nashville....this was DEDICATION. I was having small visions of hunting down Lilly Pulitzer animal crackers back before the blog! Needless to say we have all 8 dolls and MD plays with them on occasion. This afternoon happened to be one of them.

*** you do not have to get a Happy Meal to enjoy the toy. You can pay anywhere from 78 cents to $1.65.... They are so cute and Mary Drew loves them.... Almost as much as I do!!
