Snow 2014

What a day! Yesterday was one of the craziest days I can remember. Schools dismissed just as the roads were getting really bad.... Took hours to get places that normally take minutes.... So many people abandon their cars and walked home. I walked with a group of teachers about halfway home and then Griffin picked me up. 

I am SO thankful we were able to make it home... We live in a very hilly neighborhood and it was so scary getting  up the hills. 

We did end up getting to have some fun! We do not have a sled but improvised with a cardboard box! Our street is a huge hill.... Since there were no cars on the road we took full advantage!

Hunkering down today with the high only being 32 but in true Alabama fashion we are expecting temps in the 60's by the weekend!!
