Lately

I just realized I haven't posted anything on the old blog in a very long time for those of you who read this :) We have had lots of out of town visitors coming through on their way to the beach which has been really fun!! MD had her Boosterthon Run at school.... which looking back was almost a month ago! We went to the lake with our dear friends Hunt and Allison this weekend and had a fun, fun weekend!!! We have also been into all things Fall and decorating pumpkins.... MD continues to love her Hello Kitty so this year our pumpkins have taken on a theme!

Now onto our lake weekend... it was cold but we didn't let that stop us from having some old fashioned fun! Fishing, playing outside, nature walks, campfires and smores!!!! These girls love each other and had fun catching up... as did we adults. Hunt taught Griffin how to fish.... or least attempted to!!! MD caught all of two fish while the Treadwell girls couldn't reel them in fast enough!!! Baby Hunt was along for the ride and enjoyed taking in the wild girls!! Allison and I did not plan to coordinate the girls- great minds think alike!!!!

Most of y'all that know Hunt Treadwell know that he is an avid outdoorsman... most of y'all that know Griffin Beard know that he is not! We made the most of the great Fall weather... fishing, fires and chainsaws! Griffin enjoyed cutting wood for the fire and I think he secretly was bummed that he couldn't cut down more!

Such a fun weekend with friends who have moved away- thank you Hunt and Allison for fun times!!! Lastly, here is my little hello kitty fanatic! We are headed to Memphis to trick or treat with the cousins!!! MD has been requesting this since the summer. Be on the lookout for Peter Pan, Wendy and a Lost Boy!!!! Looking forward to seeing more friends and family this weekend!!!
