Anne and Woodson invited a bunch of us to spend a weekend at their farm a few weeks ago. We spent 48 hours soaking up time with best friends, playing games, eating good food and catching up!
All the kids got along really well and the weekend was drama free! Which if you know our group of friends that is a pretty big deal!
I love these people and miss them.... Weekends like these are the best! Uninterrupted time to catch up :)
We spent a lot of time at the pool, took golf cart rides to the garden, rode sea doos (is that spelled correctly??) and watched Griffin and Woodson engage in friendly competitions. I love Candace's description of Griffin, the "backyard athlete." His competitive side definitely came out and Woodson challenged him to a Sunday morning game of tennis! None of us thought the match would happen since the challenge was suggested during a late night dinner! But it did and everyone was a good sport.... Hate to brag on the backyard athlete.... But he won!!
All in all a fun weekend was had by all- thanks Anne and Woodson!!
* I also got in A LOT of time with the angel, Douglas. Griffin refers to him as the Buddha.... can't get enough of him!
