Chicago

We decided on a whim to go to Chicago last weekend. MD loved the big city.... It was definitely interesting taking a 3 year old. I don't know if I could be an urban Mom! Maneuvering the stroller down the street, bundling up and just lugging everything around was a challenge.

We ate great food, shopped, did Navy Pier and the American Girl Place (3 times!) Griffin's parents went as well and kept Mary Drew one night so we were able to go out to dinner. Griffin and I both have very good friends that live in Chicago so it was fun to see them, too!

I would have to say my favorite memories from the trip were from MD in the "Bitty" store. She was in Heaven! She picked out several things but understood we had to save some for Santa to bring.












Navy Pier was really a cute place! We rode the carousel, ferris wheel and managed to ride a pony, too!
