Bittersweet

Today was Mary Drew's last day of school. Being a former teacher I can't help but love summer! However, the end of school means a lot of quality time with MD.... Looking forward and sort of dreading it at the same time!

We have a week in Birmingham before the summer jaunting officially begins with a trip to Memphis followed by 2 weeks at the beach! We will be having lots of play dates, splash pad visits and lunches with friends next week to pass the time! And not to mention it is already 90 degrees down here in Dixie.

So sweet and innocent.... Yeah right!!! I turned around after taking this to find Mary Drew on her bike chasing the squirrels. She is such a wild little thing!
