A Birmingham Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in Birmingham. This is the first time we have not been with family on the actual day of Christmas. We were so glad my brother Johnny came and spent it with us! We started out at Christmas Eve church. Mary Drew was sloop good during the service. It was a children's service and they had the Holy family there walking down the aisle and while it was dead silent in the church Mary Drew screamed out " a baby! And he is naked!" NO JOKE.... Everyone laughed and we will always remember Mary Drew's love of the Baby Jesus!

Heading to Christmas Eve church

Let me back up before diving into Christmas Eve.... On the 23rd we went to Zoo light Safari at the zoo..... Basically we saw some lights and rode the train! Mary Drew was not in a picture taking mood but here are a few.....

Now Christmas Morning! She woke up bright and early and we came downstairs and went straight to her "blue baby." This was. On the top of Santa's list.... A blue baby aka a doll in a blue outfit. Griffin and I had taken bets on what she would go to first.... My bet was the doll and stroller, his was the bike. I won!

She had also asked for bottles and blankets for her blue baby!

It rained/sleeted/snowed Christmas day so she could not go out and ride her bike.... So she practiced indoors.

We headed to Memphis on the 26th. Went to little Ruthie's Christening lunch and then to the Beards to do Christmas!

Loving her new doll cradle and Vineyard Vines pj pants!

Giving Daddy tea

Yum!

Watching Uncle Drew and Chelsea put together toys!

Overall, the child had four Christmases. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family who spoils her! We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
