New to Blogland!

Well, I have caved and decided to start a blog. It is really for my own selfish reasons as a way to record our day to day activities. So I can have a place to look back some day and remember all the funny happenings of the Beard family. With all this said, I do hope that it is of interest to others, be it you are a fellow Mom, friend or family member. I hope that this will be a peek into our life for those friends and family that do not have the joy of seeing Mary Drew on a daily basis.

As far as the title of the blog: No Place Like Home, as some of you know we are in a wandering phase of life. We moved to Chattanooga almost a year ago from our home in Memphis and this is just a stop on our journey. We know and have accepted the fact that we will be "on the move" for the next few years. It has been a great move. Mary Drew and I have become so close and inseparable except for the 2 days a week she goes to MDO. I would not trade the time I have had with her for anything. Griffin will leave us in a week and be working from Nashville during the week for the next 3 months. With that said, home is with your family, whether we are in Memphis, Chattanooga, or wherever our journey takes us...

So, I hope you enjoy this blog. Some posts may be long and some may be short. I am still new to blogging so I am up for any tips/advice you have to offer! I would also like to add a disclaimer.... I was not an English major, therefore there will be misspelled words and all kinds of grammatical errors.
